Vineyard Spotlight: Sangiacomo Family

Kiser Vineyard

Flambeaux Sonoma Coast Chardonnay is grown in two different vineyards owned by the famed Sangiacomo family—Kiser and Roberts Road. The Sangiacomos have been farming grapes in Sonoma County since 1969 and were some of the first farmers to dive headlong into grapegrowing in the area. Over the years, they have consistently produced some of the highest quality grapes that can be found and we are grateful to be working side by side with them.

The Kiser Vineyard is situated farther inland in southwestern Sonoma and is planted with the Wente clone, a cultivar that contributes bright acidity balanced with the concentrated and weighty stone fruit flavors characteristic of Flambeaux Sonoma Coast Chardonnay.
