The Flambeaux Estate in Dry Creek Valley is located in the sweet spot for vineyard elevation – terraced about 350 ft above Sonoma County’s famed valley floor. This steep, well-drained hillside location provides the perfect climate and terroir for fruit that is at once balanced and concentrated and is home to three of our calling card wines: the Flambeaux Dry Creek Valley Cabernet Sauvignon, Flambeaux Dry Creek Valley Zinfandel, and Flambeaux Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon.
Warm daytime temperatures are balanced by the naturally cooling afternoon fog that rolls in from the south along the Russian River Valley, allowing a long 'hang time' for perfect ripening. The iron-rich Boomer Loam series Metamorphic soil provides great minerality and natural acidity.
